Wireless Headphones Are the Newest Craze
If you have perused through social media lately or simply taken a stroll down the street, you’ve probably taken notice of the growing popularity surrounding wireless headphones. You may be thinking, “What’s so appealing about headphones in comparison to earbuds?”
Well for starters, those who enjoy running or going to the gym benefit significantly from wireless headphones due to the stability and comfort they provide for one’s ears while working out. Another upside to these headphones is that many of them are noise canceling, which allows for a more concentrated sound and much clearer quality compared to that of earbuds. Besides the pristine sound feature, the battery life of wireless headphones tends to be much longer in comparison to earbuds like 1st Generation AirPods, making them beneficial to people who consistently use electronics throughout the day for work or personal entertainment.
Some of the most popular wireless headphones that have been circulating the internet as of late are the Apple AirPods Maxs, Beats Solo 3s, Sony WH-1000XM5s, and Bose 700s. Multiple online sources claim that the headphone to invest in if you want the most bang for your buck is the AirPod Max (which currently happens to be around $500) due to its incomparable sound quality. I recently received my first pair of wireless headphones for Christmas – the Beats Solo 3s. I would have to say that the quality of sound is a solid 9 out of 10, and they are very comfortable to wear while jogging, studying, or watching movies.
If you haven’t already got your hands on a pair of wireless headphones, do some research on which would be the best fit for you (physically and financially), then go purchase your own. Your ears will thank you later!

Hey everyone!! My name is Terina, and this is my first year being a part of Ka Mōʻī. I used to be a border from Hawai'i Island, but now live in Kaneohe. I am currently a senior and I am excited to spend my last year on campus working to build the best newspaper for all of you! Something that takes up my life outside of school is Subway, which is where I work when I'm not busy with homework. My post-high plans are to attend college on the East Coast (hopefully in Massachusetts, New York, or Chicago!) and major in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. Although it is frequently changing, my dream career would be anything from a Reporter to a traveling Journalist. I feel that through this class, I will strengthen my passion for writing and get a realistic feel for what these careers could provide for me. Hope that this year is amazing for everyone!
