Need Your Disney Fix? Netflix Can’t Help!
If you remember growing up and watching the classic Disney movies, whether it be Mary Poppins, the Lion King, the Little Mermaid, along with many more, everyone has their favorites. From the characters distinctive nature to their infectious music breaks, there’s almost always something that everyone who watches is able to find enjoyable! Majority of these movies nowadays are shown on television, but there are many families who either don’t have the luxury of cable television or choose to live without paying for it. Fortunately, there is still an option for people to watch their favorite Disney movies, thanks to the well known Netflix company. Unfortunately, by the end of 2018, Disney has announced that they plan to pull all their Disney content from being streamed on Netflix. In result of this decision, people will no longer have the opportunity to binge watch their favorite classics whenever they want.
Following Disney’s recent news, they have stated that their future plans are to release their own consumer streaming service come 2019. Due to Disney’s future plans, people will soon be needing to pay for Netflix as well as the new streaming service if they will be wanting to watch their old Disney favorites.
Hi.
I’m Gisella Kahapea and I am a senior and I got into Kamehameha Schools Kapalama in the 9th grade and I was a mess. About 3 years later, and I’m still a mess. I have literally done nothing my high school career, but Ka Mō’i was the light to my high school
resume. I knew we had a school newspaper, but I’ve never been that interested in it, until Mr. Barona heard me gossiping in class and recommended I take it. I mean, who ever said gossiping was a bad thing? Though Im new to this world of journalism, I’m hoping
Ka Mō’i will help me make my last year the best year yet!
